Heavy Equipment Operator

The role of Heavy Equipment Operator is to safely operate and maintain various types of heavy equipment, including semi-tractors, trailers, and other vehicles. This position requires a high level of physical fitness, as operators will be required to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working in extreme weather conditions.

This position also requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Operators must be able to effectively communicate with colleagues, supervisors, and clients to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of self and others at all times while operating equipment or performing tasks;
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, maintenance schedules etc.;    
• Operate trucks in compliance with company policies on hours worked per week;    


• <p>The employee selected for this role should demonstrate leadership skills by managing their time wisely & addressing operational issues proactively.
