In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.

Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your responsibilities will include:

Interact with both business and technical stakeholders of client companies to gather and analyze their reporting and analytical requirements across functional areas and developing functional specifications to be used by the technical Reporting and Analytics team.
Work with cross functional and technical consultants in identifying the required data, documenting the desired reporting and analytics functionality and supporting the technical Reporting and Analytics team, while ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
Support the execution of Functional Unit Testing and Systems Integration Testing.

Expected to be on-site in downtown Calgary 80 % of the time. This is not a remote work role.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Required skills:

A minimum of 3 years experience in an S/4 Functional Plant Maintenace and Enterprise Asset Management role which is not a support role. Good knowledge of PM, PS, QM, EAM.
Ability to discuss diverse topics with the business, including but not limited to Maintenance Planning, MOC, Equipment, Functional Location, Classifications, Projects.
An investigative and analytical mind able to drill down to details from a high level business requirement.
Effective communicator with excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to perform detailed analysis of high level business requirements and translate into detailed Reporting and Analytics Functional Specifications by collaborating with the business and functional team
Able to perform fit gap analysis between business requirements and what already exists as standard delivered. In this case, being able to compare standard Fiori apps for Embedded Analytics with the business requirements and determine and document additional requirements to be satisfied
Act as a liaison between the business, Plant Maintenance and EAM functional team and the technical team to enable the technical team in developing Technical Specifications to enable a build that satisfies the requirements documented in the Functional Specification.
Perform testing throughout the project life cycle, including supporting the business during UAT. This will include testing Reporting and Analytics using various reporting toolsets. Some understanding of running reports using SAP S/4 HANA Embedded Analytics, SAC Analysis for Office, and SAC
SAP Analytics Cloud would be advantageous.
Ability to work as a team and independently.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

SAP Datasphere knowledge and experience.
SAP/ABAP debugging/development skills.
Professional certificate related to the relevant domain (SAP SAC, SAP HANA).
Experience in Agile and Dev/Ops methodologies, e.g. Scrum or SAFe.
Develop and support Analytics Governance implementation and underlying organization model.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with SAP reporting tools such as Embedded Analytics and Analysis for Office.
