Job Brief

We are expanding at the Fundy Harbour Group of Companies.

The Fundy Harbour Group (FHG) is a company with expertise in all areas of the real estate sector and we are currently looking for an experienced
Business Analyst who possesses the necessary skills to assist in completing business assessments, outlining problems, identifying opportunities and assisting in assessing potential solutions.

The role will be key in the delivery of quality solutions and focus on continuous improvement of our current and future products/services.

The Business Analyst will document current and evolving business process with an overall goal to improve business efficiency.

The position will be key in supporting new project developments and supporting other departments at FHG and will be located at our FHG head office in Saint John, NB.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in developing business process for new projects
  • Assist in the documentation of current state business process and develop Standard Operating Procedures
  • Provide support the Fundy Harbour Group through metrics creation, reporting and operational process streamlining;
  • Create Operational KPI's for all lines of business and develop measurement solutions;
  • Assist in the evaluation of new business opportunities as required;
  • Provide support to the Managers in the delivery of all project documentation as required;
  • Assist in the creation of new corporate forms and templates to optimize data collection;
  • Provide status updates on work progress in a clear concise manner;
  • Maintain a high degree of attention to detail;
  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude throughout all interactions;
  • Other work related to the position as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in business from an accredited university; Certification as a BA (CABA, RBA, PMI_PBA, CBAP) would be an asset;
  • Five years experience working as a BA and process related work in major projects
  • Strong skills and proficiency in Excel
  • Strong analytical ability and critical thinking is necessary
  • Strong leadership and communication skills and ability to lead teams
  • Ability to use office productivity and process mapping tools
  • Must have a mindset for continuous improvement and change management process
  • Proven track record in leading Small "P" projects from start to finish
  • Ability to coordinate and manage conflicting priorities often under pressure
  • High level of motivation, maturity and dependability
  • Real Estate Industry and experience in conducting deals and transactions considered an asset
  • Must be a fast learner and open to feedback
  • Must be detailed orientated to ensure accurate deliverables with ability to take initiative to meet deadlines
  • Team player and an ability to collaborate.

Additional Details:

Location: 15 Market Square, Saint John, NB, Canada.


Office Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm


Compensation:
based on experience.
