THE ROLE

PSP Military Housing was created in 1961 to provide housing for Junior Non-Commissioned Members posted to the National Capital Region.

PSP Military Housing consists of 519 three-bedroom townhouses and 26 three-bedroom bungalows.

Under the supervision of the PSP Military Housing Superintendent, the general labourer will be responsible for general labour/maintenance work required at PSP Military housing.

This will include everything from landscaping, cleaning, painting, and other building repairs and property maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will be considered

AND
Valid driver's license class "G" or equivalent

Experience
In operating equipment for landscaping and general maintenance
In building repair and maintenance
In general painting
In general cleaning

Knowledge
Of general maintenance, repairs and improvement practices and techniques
Of grounds keeping practices and techniques
Of health and safety practices

Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
