The Role

A
Labourer works alongside the Site Assistant and Superintendent to assist with general labour tasks including lifting, digging, and general job site clean-up.

The Responsibilities

Loading and unloading construction materials, and moving them to work areas
Work in a fastpaced outdoor environment, in various weather conditions
Digging, lifting, and moving equipment and material as required
Provide general clean up and ongoing maintenance of the job site
Removing/sweeping rubble and other debris at construction sites.
Shovel snow on job site, when needed
General understanding of basic hand tools and the ability to use them
Assure the general cleanliness and safety of the construction site
Perform other related duties of a comparable level/type as assigned

Our 'Must Haves'

High school diploma preferred.
Must be able to lift minimum 55 lb.
Must have a valid Alberta driver's license
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Knowledge of a variety of tools
Physically capable of performing construction work
