Process Engineer (Food and Beverage)

Vaughan, Ontario

120-140K salary with Benefits

Preferred candidates will have a background in the equipment design, build and manufacturing sector

Responsibilities

Design and Modify Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's)

Size and select equipment and lines for the Process

Monitor and evaluate process efficiency

Data analysis and making recommendations on design and process optimization

Adjusting variables such as machine speed, material input and temperature settings

Conducting safety and risk assessments to ensure industry regulations and compliance

Quality assurance and documentation

Start up, commissioning and troubleshooting

Use of AutoCAD and MS Office

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Food Science)

5+ years of experience in Process Engineering

Experience in equipment design/build an asset

Strong understanding of electrical systems and automation (PLC programming would be an asset)

AutoCAD and MS Office proficiency

Excellent communication, written and documentation skills
