INVESTMENT ADMINISTRATOR


If you're an experienced administrative professional looking for a new and rewarding challenge in the South Surrey area, then this could the position you've been looking for We are recruiting on behalf of an independent financial planning and advisory firm specializing in wealth management for individuals and tax planning and risk management for small to mid-market businesses and their owners.

This firm is well-established and has built a solid and stable team known for integrity and professionalism.


A DAY IN THE LIFE....


Bring your extraordinary time management skills and detail orientation to this exciting opportunity You will complete various administrative tasks for onboarding and management of individual client investments and group pension plans.


To accomplish this, you'll do the following:

  • Gather data to initiate the new client process and establish key contacts for ongoing administrative inquiries and transactions.
  • Proactively interact with clients to make their financial lives simpler and their experience exceptional
  • Administer tasks required for group retirement plans, including preparing annual plan reviews, servicing member inquiries, liaise with group plan carriers and serving plan sponsor requests ensuring their questions are fully answered.
  • Maintain client records in our client relationship management system.
  • Ensure advisors have the information they need when it is needed to service the client well.

IDEALLY, YOU'RE SOMEONE WHO BRINGS:


  • A minimum five years experience in administrative support and client services, ideally in a professional servicedriven business environment; financial services industry experience is an asset, but is not essential; full training will be provided.
  • Proven ability to complete selected administration tasks which can include document reviews, archiving, tracking documentation, and accurate data processing; insurance and group plan administration experience would be an asset.
  • Strong organization skills, accuracy and detailorientation are integral to success in this role » Intermediate level fluency with Word, Excel and database programs
  • While you will have clearly defined responsibilities, the company's work environment is strongly team based, and you'll be expected to develop strong peer relationships for the benefit of the entire team
  • A professional demeanor coupled with a positive and constructive sense of humor » Formal office administration or bookkeeping training would be a definite asset » The position is Monday to Friday, 40 hrs/week

COMPENSATION 60k, dependent on experience
