The position is based in Edmonton, Alberta.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Human Resource - Generalist will be responsible for the full spectrum of HR and recruiting-related procedures, processes and policies.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Development and implementation of labor relation policies, ensuring compliance with legislation and incorporating best practices;
Administration of the group medical plans;
Informing job applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, promotion opportunities, etc.;
Reporting Monthly/Quarterly diversity and indigenous stats to Clients;
Administer employee development and training and coordination of the performance review process;
Completion of terminations and ROE's.

Experience and Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in a related field, with 37 years of related experience preferred, or, a suitable combination of education and related industry experience, preferably in oilfield industries;
An understanding of social media recruiting would also be considered as an asset.
