Job Duties

  • Reports to Operations Manager
  • Polishing, grinding, hand filing, sanding parts, finishing small steel parts using hand, handheld power tools and various machines.
  • Visual inspection of products for quality.
  • Promote a safe and healthy working environment by maintaining housekeeping standards and safe working practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Minimum one year polishing experience
  • Ability to use surface finish gauges
  • The ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity
  • Good eyehand coordination
  • Excellent communication skills required

Salary:
$20.00-$26.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
