- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Administer and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, access controls, and security monitoring tools.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and address any potential vulnerabilities or risks.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify and respond to security incidents and breaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define security requirements and ensure security is integrated into the development and deployment of systems and applications.
- Create and manage policies for user access controls and permissions, including user provisioning, role-based access controls, and access reviews.
- Provide technical guidance and support to employees regarding security best practices and procedures.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, and make recommendations for security enhancements.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to address security issues and implement necessary security measures.
- Assist in the development and delivery of security awareness and training programs for employees.
- Other duties and special projects as requested.
- Travel within North America will be required.
- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related major.
- Cybersecurity designation (CISSP or CISM or Security+) preferred.
- 8+ years' experience as a Security Administrator or a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of information security principles, best practices, and industry standards.
- Experience with security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, access controls, and security monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001.
- Proficient in conducting security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
- Knowledge of cloud security and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate fluently in French would be an asset.
