We currently have an opportunity for an Accounting Analyst to join our accounting team located in our Winnipeg Head Office.

This permanent, full-time position will provide a recent graduate with the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills while preparing them for growth and advancement within our finance teams.

As an Accounting Analyst, you will be provided with support and guidance from a professionally-designated Richardson CPA mentor while working towards your CPA designation.


Responsibilities:

Preparing month-end accounting journal entries

Reconciling and analyzing general ledger accounts

Investigating outstanding issues and identifying potential solutions

Creating and presenting financial and operational reports to the Manager of Finance

Completing special projects as required


Qualifications:

Possess post-secondary education in accounting, finance or business administration and enrolled in a recognized accounting program

Above average communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks and work toward deadlines

Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills

Demonstrated computer experience with MS Excel
