    About this role

    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our Inpatient Psychiatry Unit. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families.



    In this critical care environment, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with complex psychiatric needs. As a member of our interprofessional team, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.




    Responsibilities



    • Assessing patients' physical and emotional needs through thorough evaluations and developing tailored care plans that promote recovery and well-being.

    • Providing direct patient care including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

    • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication about patient status updates, treatment options, and progress towards goals.
      The key skills we're looking for:
      The ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail; Excellent interpersonal communication skills;
      Prolonged periods standing or sitting may be necessary at times;Maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive information related directly or indirectly regarding residents/patients/residents’
