Project Administrator - Fort McMurray, AB

You will report to the
Project Accountant Lead - East and be accountable for the following:

  • Ensure accurate employee records and timely time management system updates.
  • Submit time records promptly for payroll and invoicing.
  • Collect payroll documentation for timely worker payments.
  • Maintain project crew lists and report on time usage and costs.
  • Address payment inquiries, support project supervision, and manage travel arrangements while ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Support and advance CIMS' culture, values, and business strategy while ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives and strategic direction.
  • Completion of a business administration certificate, diploma, or degree would be advantageous, demonstrating a foundational understanding of business principles and practices.
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with colleagues, stakeholders, and external parties.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.

  • The accuracy of data entered and maintained in the CIMS timekeeping system, crew lists, and databases. Monitor for errors and discrepancies and track the percentage of records with accurate information.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, union agreements, and legal regulations in performing each task. Monitor adherence to relevant timelines and guidelines.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders, such as project supervisors, payroll departments, and clients, on the quality and effectiveness of the tasks performed.

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:


  • Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)
  • Payroll: 2 years (preferred)
  • Time & attendance systems: 2 years (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:

  • Fort McMurray, AB: Relocate before starting work (required)
