Quality Technician - Windsor, Canada - Butcher Engineering Enterprises LTD.

Description

• Create and or verify packaging specifications
• Conduct Dock and floor audits per the Layered Process Audit
• Oversea daily audit functions of Team Leads and provides direction as required
• Document internal rejects in our system and pass along to Quality Manager
• Report stock damage and material damage
• Assists in control of Quality Alerts in internal Butcher system
• Supports packaging specifications Materials Handlers, Material Technicians, Production

• Uses Customer database to access and coordinate specialized instructions

• Interacts with all Production Supervisors, as well as Plant Management.

• Operates within corporate guidelines of the Business Management System.
• Supports the maintenance of the ISO 9001 certification program.
• Ensures quality records are properly recorded and submitted on a timely basis, including Calibrations
• Ensure and follow up on corrective action (using problem resolution process), are applied where results are not meeting target goals and objectives.

• As assigned by the Quality Manager and/or Plant Manager
• Continuous improvement recommendations.
• Overtime as required
