Description
Caledon Chrysler, a division within CarHub Automotive Group, is currently searching for a professional Service Advisor to join our successful team.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and maintain their loyalty to the dealership.
- Coordinate customer and vehicle processing, providing cost and time estimates to complete and follow through to delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate the need for additional work; explain the details to the customer, including the extra cost and time consideration, and document properly on the repair order.
- Interpret warranty information and policies to customers.
- Stay current on technical and performance information on all vehicles serviced by the dealership.
- Follow up progress of each repair order during the day, contact customers by phone or text regarding changes in the estimate or time promised.
- Assist customers in picking up vehicles and note any problems they have so that an appointment for correcting a problem can be scheduled.
- Explain service work, including following maintenance requirements, to customers.
- Notify customers when backorder parts become available.
- Check and review work in process and open R.O.'s to see that all work is being performed correctly and the schedule is being met, as required.
- Diagnose the specific customer problems accurately and describe them clearly on repair orders.
- Assist the Service Manager as necessary.
- Other duties, projects, etc., as requested by management.
Experience, Skills and Attributes
- Previous experience in a service advisor role within the automotive dealership environment
- 13 years of customer service experience.
- A great attitude
- Thrives in a fastpaced environment and works well under pressure.
- A valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail. Friendly and trustworthy individual.
- A desire to achieve the very best in customer service and teamwork.
- Excellent listening skills.
- Problem solver.
