    Job Summary

    We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable First Aid Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching first aid and CPR courses to participants in our youth program. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to engage students effectively, and a passion for educating others about safety and emergency response.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct first aid and CPR training sessions for diverse groups, including adults and children.
    • Assess student performance through practical demonstrations and written evaluations.
    • Provide clear instructions and support to students during training exercises.
    • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and course completion.
    • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation and engagement.
    • Collaborate with team members to improve instructional methods and materials.

    Requirements

    • Proficiency in English; bilingual in French is a plus.
    • Previous experience in teaching or tutoring, particularly in first aid or health-related subjects.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
    • Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is preferred.
    • Classroom experience with effective time management and organizational skills.
    • Familiarity with early childhood education principles is advantageous.
    • Basic math skills for instructional purposes related to first aid scenarios.
    • Computer skills necessary for lesson planning and administrative tasks.

    Job Type: Casual

    Pay: From $25.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
