What your role will be:

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage on broader stakeholder relationships, systems, and knowledge
  • Completes Third Party Risk Management contract reviews that fall within the agreed to scope for the program
  • Provides support and recommendations to Contract Owners, 1Bs and (occasionally) Vendors based on the TPRM and BCM Policies, BCMU Mandate and industry best practices
  • Provides information to facilitate Semi-Annual Regulatory Reporting for executives
  • Create monthly dashboards/reports for senior management to track the progress of the reviews and generate trend analysis
  • Provide 24/7 incident management On-Call support per schedule. Following up until issue/event is closed
  • Partners with relevant stakeholders across the Bank on the implementation of a governance structure that spans the thirdparty risk management lifecycle, including the creation and enhancement of thirdparty risk management programs and systems
  • Supports the Senior Manager of TPRM as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with focus on the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of the Third-Party Risk Management function
  • Leads and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders on processes focused on Third Party Risk Management, with the objective to create an improved end state
  • Contributing to and/or reviewing communication material, including quarterly Continuum and TPRM documents, ensuring content is applicable to target audiences and aligns with overall program objectives
  • Provide TPRM training to Contract Owners, share best practices, policies and mandate
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in daytoday activities and decisions
  • Help create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), User guides to support stakeholders in understanding of the TPRM BCM risk domain
  • Supports in adhoc activities to represent the TPRM team to wider audience in the Bank
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of daytoday business controls to meet obligations with respect to business continuity regulations and best practices, operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

_Skills you already have:

  • 3+ years working in a Due Diligence/Compliance/Regulatory management function
  • Demonstrated capabilities in managing and planning activities related to Third-Party Risk Management
  • Hands on reporting experience (MS Office, Power BI)
  • Good experience in training, coaching, mentoring team members
  • Relationship building with Senior Executives/ stakeholders
  • Strong background and experience in projects/stakeholder management
  • Flexible and creative thinker with the ability to define business trade offs, generate outofthebox solutions and manage uncertainty; proactively identify and solve complex problems impacting management and business direction
  • Ability to prioritize against many competing interests in an environment of constant change
  • Have experience and participated in internal and external audits, specifically with regulators
  • Spanish is an asset
