    Reporting to the Project Services Manager, the Procurement Sourcing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting our procurement efforts in our Utilities Sector. The successful candidate will play a key role at the RFQ phase in working with our estimators in obtaining pricing for materials, equipment, and services required for our projects, while ensuring subcontractors are qualified to be on a project site.

    This position will be based at our Corporate Headquarters in Etobicoke

    What You'll Do Here

  • Collaborate with estimators to understand procurement needs and project timelines.
  • Identify potential suppliers and maintain relationships with existing ones.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and availability of materials and services.
  • Source/suggest options to maximize savings to create bidding advantages.
  • Request and analyze quotations, negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable agreements for the company.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement/bidding activities, including contracts, subcontractor contracts, and supplier information.
  • Stay compliant with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • prepare project sourcing package to project procurement team upon award.
  • Ensure that procurement activity is ethical and adheres to the Project Procurement Policy.
  • Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging.
  • What You Bring to the Team:

  • Supply Chain Management Certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with excellence in excel.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Knowledge of construction materials and suppliers is a plus.
