  • Looking for a qualified
    Child Caregiver
    June 1, 2023 through August 31, 2023:
  • Experience working with children and toddlers
-
8-hour shifts,
5 days a week, Monday-Friday 8a-4p, Part time:

  • Basic child care for newborn twins and toddler.
  • Support of the home, mother and children

PSW Role:


  • Assistance with newborn twin & toddler care
  • Assist with light household duties meal planning and preparation, general light housekeeping, organization, laundry
  • Support mother and children & toddler
  • Preparing, organizing, and supervising mealtimes and snacks with nutritional food selections.
  • Planning and supervising balanced routines that include physical activities, rest, and playtime.
  • Providing responsible care and maintaining all safety standards.
  • Ensuring a safe, sanitary, and orderly environment.
  • Maintaining professional and positive relationships with parents, children, and staff.
  • Notifying supervisors and parents of any signs of emotional or developmental issues.
  • Providing structure and accountability that is firm but compassionate.
  • Assisting children in the bathroom or with diapering tasks as needed.
  • Encouraging children to participate in all activities.

Child Caregiver Qualifications Required:


  • Valid work/study permit (if applicable) and/or College Diploma
  • Vulnerable Sector Screening(Police Clearance)
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Current Tb test
  • Uptodate Immunizations (MMR, TDAP, Varicella, Hep B) considered
    an asset:
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Strong problemsolving, and excellent team player

WE REQUIRE YOUR MOST RECENT COVID-19 NEGATIVE TEST RESULTS & PROOF OF COVID VACCINATION

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
$16.00-$22.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Alliston, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
