Under the supervision of the preschool community programming coordinator, Kinder Links Facilitators will prepare for and implement a variety of parent-child programs at various school and community venues throughout the division, including virtual programming.

Responsibilities will include:

Facilitate onsite and virtual parentchild programs offered through Kinder Links.
Lead program participants in rhymes/chants, group stories, and facilitate educational games and skill building activities. Prepare ageappropriate art experiences for young children.
Communicate with and support of preschool parents in the RETSD community
Prepare program materials and resources and monitor their delivery to class locations
Participate in professional learning, training, and staff meetings
Track Kinder Links program information and compile statistics

Qualifications:

Training in River East Transcona's early learning programs (or a willingness to be trained)
Resident/knowledge of the community areas of the River East Transcona School Division
Comfortable working with the Microsoft Office Suite and Teams app
An understanding of the parenting experience
Must enjoy working with parents and children in groups
Group facilitation training an asset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Available to work daytime and evening shifts as required
External applicants, upon hire, must supply a Criminal Record Search, and a cleared Child Abuse Registry check

Dependent on experience

Salary:
$62,970.00-$73,844.00 per year
