Description
Square nine Developments is a Burnaby based development company looking to hire a full time bookkeeper. You should have knowledge of Quickbooks.You should be able to:
Self manage your time
Data Entry
Preparing and posting journal entries
Inter-company and month-end accruals - including deferred revenue, commission, AP, fixed assets, amortization etc.
Month-end reconciliations and bank reconciliations
Review and authorize payments to vendors and suppliers and resolves problems where necessary
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, analyzing variances as required by management and assisting with forecasting and inputs to the budget
Proactively identify and develop recommendations for improvement on accounting processes and procedures to incorporate best practice
Educational & Qualification:
Diploma in Accounting & in depth knowledge of Quickbooks
Salary:
$20.00-$23.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Burnaby, BC V5H 4M2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
- English (preferred)
