Job Description:
We are looking for Journeyperson Instrumentation Technicians with industrial plant maintenance experience to install electrical systems for our client based in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. This position is
expected to start from April 14th, 2023 until April 30th, 2023 with an opportunity for high performing employees to transfer to future projects.
What would you be doing?- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot and maintain process instrumentation, communication networks, and control equipment, including flow computers, tank gauging systems, custody transfer metering, and associated equipment.
- Analyze, interpret and utilize the information contained in SCADA, LOI displays, and P ID drawings to ensure the safe operation of facilities.
- Supports programming and troubleshooting of Local Operator Interfaces and Programmable Logic Controllers.
- Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment.
- Provide Instrumentation support and maintenance to ensure system reliability.
- Use pneumatic, electrical, and electronic testing devices to inspect and test instrument and system operation and diagnose.
- Repair, maintain and adjust system components or remove and replace defective parts.
Does this sound like you? - Have a Journeyperson or Instrumentation Certificate.
- Valid and uptodate safety tickets: Aerial Work Platform, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection.
- Have high regard for personal safety and the safety of company assets and employees.
- Selfmotivated and capable of performing tasks with mínimal supervision.
- Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadlines.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
- Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.
Perks of the job- Journeyperson Rate $42/hr.
- Truck Rate $120/day.
- LOA $150/day.
- Consistent Schedule, Monday to Friday, 10 hrs/day.
- Benefits after 300+ hours worked.
- Opportunity to move to other projects.
