55a Kaffee is a unique and friendly traditional European café. We offer quality drinks & baking, coupled with personal genuine customer service.We are currently hiring a Head Baker.
Hours of Work:
Tuesday - Saturday, 40 hrs/week with mínimal overtime
Qualifications:
- Professional Baking & Pastry training/certification
- FoodSafe Certified or willing to become certified
- A passion for providing an exceptional customer experience & quality product
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, stand, walk, bend, use hands and appliances and lift heavy items
Baker Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes and cookies
- ensure adequate baked goods inventory
- properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- ordering supplies & stocking inventory
- manage expenses to achieve profit goals
- managing staff
- handle customer service inquiries and provide a positive customer experience
- maintaining a clean, safe work environment
Pay is competitive.
Benefit package available after 3 months.
We are located in the IngoFloor building at Avenue, Grande Prairie.
