Your Opportunity:


The incumbent is responsible for supporting the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital (GRH) site leadership, management teams, front line clinical staff and physicians with Quality and Healthcare Improvements project, initiatives, and evaluation to improve health outcomes and experience of patients.

The incumbent will assist in the development of recommendations to GRH Senior Management regarding strategies that have fiscal and service implications.

Because connection and relationships are key to this role, the incumbent will develop and maintain a strong working relationship with staff, external stakeholders, physicians, patients, and families.

Complexity in this position is influenced by the requirements to be knowledgeable of the key issues of a large multifaceted organization and to be aware of related external issues/factors which may affect tertiary rehabilitation operations.


Description:

The Senior Quality Consultant works independently and in concert with the Site Director, Team Lead

  • Systems, Practice and Rehabilitation Informatics, Health Care Improvement Team, and Learning & Development Centre to: Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of service improvement initiatives that support the GRH Strategic Plan and Key Priorities. Influence culture change through continual representation of the body of knowledge specific to knowledge mobilization, implementation science, change management and project management to ensure efficient, evidencebased, approaches across the GRH. Establish project teams, use various processes and tools to assess, implement and evaluate projects to support operational managers in the advancement of tertiary rehabilitation service delivery. Provide consultation services to various groups both internal and external to the GRH on project scoping, purpose, data collection, data analysis. Colead & Lead site, zonal, & provincial committees.

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of bachelor's degree in an Allied Health, Health Care Administration, and Quality Improvement. PROSCI Certified.

Preferred Qualifications:


Masters level degree in a discipline relevant to Allied Health, Health Care Administration, Quality Improvement, Process Improvement, Quality Management, or higher credentials, PROSCI Certified.
