IT Systems Administrator to join our team.

This role will be based out of our
Belleville location.

What are you responsible for?

  • Document all activity on tickets in a detailed and timely manner, including entering of all time in the correct system.
  • Assess the severity of tickets/IT issues and triage accordingly.
  • Escalate issues to higherlevel support teams when necessary.
  • Perform basic problemsolving and tech support troubleshooting of routine and straightforward hardware, software, and networking issues for various clients.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware peripherals.
  • Provide remote support for offsite clients or remote users.
  • Provide onsite support for clients and users, as required.
  • Manage user accounts, including password resets, access permissions, and account creations/deletions.
  • Utilize remote desktop tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Assist with software installations, configurations, and updates.
  • Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Stay up to date on the latest technology education, knowledge, trends and best practices in order to best serve customers.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure project success and timely delivery.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including timely responses and professional demeanour, and ensure all interactions are courteous.

What do you bring to this role?

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience) or a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications in A+, Network+ and/or a Microsoft technical certification.
  • Knowledge of the following is considered an asset:
  • VMware;
  • Exchange Server.
  • Solid understanding of networking, TCP/IP, switches, and routers.
  • Understanding of Active Directory, domains, and user permissions in a Windows environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and commitment to customer satisfaction and experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Valid G Class License for travel to customer sites.
