Job summary
We are seeking a Security Guard to join our team at SMGH hospital in Kitchener, Ontario.This is a full-time position that requires the individual to conduct regular rounds of the hospital premises, operate security cameras and alarm systems, and monitor entry points to ensure the safety and security of the site.
The ideal candidate will have valid Security License for Ontario,
valid First Aid & CPR Level C from WSIB approved provider,
Immunization records for Mumps,Rubella, Varicella , Covid Vaccine two doses ,and two step TB skin test
,English (oral and written) fluency,
a minimum one year experience in healthcare security or law enforcement,
Legally authorized to work in Canada,
Degree in Police Foundations,Criminology or Border Services will be an asset;
- Greeting visitors patients staff assist as needed during crises evacuations.
