Burlington Hall, is a new upscale private racquet club. Formerly Cedar Springs, the club is about to be transformed with renovations including an upgraded pickleball space.

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Pickleball Pro/Coach to join our dynamic sports and recreation team. In this role, you will inspire players of all ages and skill levels to develop their pickleball game while fostering a fun, inclusive, and engaging environment. Your enthusiasm for sports, coaching expertise, and passion for teaching will help elevate our community's experience on the court. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your love of pickleball and sports with others, while promoting healthy activity and skill development.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging pickleball coaching sessions for individuals and groups, tailoring instruction to various skill levels
• Organize and oversee friendly matches, tournaments, and clinics to encourage participation and healthy competition
• Provide clear demonstrations of techniques, rules, and strategies to enhance players' understanding and performance
• Foster a positive environment by encouraging teamwork, good sportsmanship, and respectful behavior among participants
• Assist with facility setup, equipment maintenance, and ensuring courts are safe and ready for play
• Collaborate with other sports staff to integrate pickleball activities into broader fitness or recreation programs
• Monitor player progress, offer constructive feedback, and motivate participants to achieve their personal goals

Skills

• Experience as a sports coach or instructor, preferably in pickleball or similar racquet sports
• Background in teaching physical education or working with children and adults in a recreational setting
• Knowledge of sports coaching techniques, behavior management, and safety protocols
• Familiarity with related activities such as tennis, badminton, or other racket sports is a plus
• Pickleball coaching certification REQUIRED

Pay: $17.20-$43.78 per hour
