Position Purpose:

The Asset Maintenance Analyst will report to the Manager, Station Sustainment. The primary objective is to administer the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). To support the Station Maintenance programs and the effective operation of Station assets. This role will assist in coordinating, tracking, and reporting on Stations work programs and asset health, ensure that the CMMS is kept up-to-date, and analyze performance data and asset health trends


Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:


Data Analytics

  • Analysis of asset health data, such as Testing or Diagnostic Data for major Station SEquipment such as power transformers, circuit breakers, and switchgear
  • Analyze work performance and develop metrics/ KPIs for tracking performance
  • Manage the data interface between Cascade CMMS and other systems such as the Oil laboratory database, DOBLE DTA, and TOA software modules
  • Prioritize preventive maintenance activities based on the equipment condition data
  • Leverage data in Cascade to determine the health, criticality and risk associated with major station assets
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and yearly reports, such as on Maintenance programs and asset health trends

Record Keeping and Technical Support

  • Develop, enter, and maintain stations assets information in CMMS. Update database information as changes, upgrades, and/or system modifications are made to ensure accuracy
  • Ensure that all applicable equipment at all Substation and other applicable locations and are up to date with the appropriate maintenance procedures and notifications applied
  • Maintain current user profiles with the appropriate permissions and database assignments
  • Supports the Station Sustainment Management team to optimize and align Cascade with current maintenance practices
  • Identifies opportunities to upgrade or replace hardware / software to meet the current and future needs of its users and management
  • Integrate other assets as identified into the CMMS and support the other Network Operations areas in leveraging the CMMS capabilities.

Planning and Scheduling

  • Maintain visibility and tracking of Stations work schedules. Work with Supervisors to coordinate project work and maintenance activities to execute work efficiently and reduce outage frequencies
  • Review, generate, track and process Stations field activities
  • Maintain field activity documentation for files, databases, and applicable compliance records

Other

  • Provide support for compliance audits, spot checks, data submittals and other requests from internal staff and regulatory agencies
  • Work with stakeholders create and maintain Dashboards on asset performance, realtime situational awareness, and other operational performance items
  • Support the Manager and Supervisors in the administration and tracking of Capital projects, Maintenance activities, and Operating and Capital budgets
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
Education & Experience

  • Post-Secondary education (minimum 23 years Community College program related to electrical engineering and / or data management) or 5 years relevant experience in record management, data management, compliance / regulatory or comparable field

Specialized knowledge

  • Sound of JDE ERP, Maintenance Management systems, and/or data management systems
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Sound knowledge of reporting tools such as PowerBI

Skills/Abilities/Competencies

  • Strong coordination, organizational, and liaison skills
  • Able to perform duties with great accuracy and attention to details
  • Familiar with terminology related to the electric utility industry
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
