Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Courier Driver.
As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting packages and documents to their designated locations.
This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and driving commercial vehicles.Pay is per package depending on route quantity and availability:30-60 parcels 1.85$/parcel
parcels 1.7$/parcel
Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver packages and documents to various locations
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle using proper lifting techniques
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Communicate with customers to ensure accurate and prompt delivery
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any delays or issues encountered
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including organizing packages and preparing them for delivery
Qualifications:
- SUV, VAN Required
- Cargo/Sprinter VAN availability soon
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in commercial driving preferred ( not required)
- Ability to lift heavy packages, up to [40lbs]
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions
Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Pay:
$16.55-$22.00 per hour
