WGames is a well-funded, social gaming company based in the heart of downtown Toronto. We develop high-end mobile games that will be distributed globally. We are seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our team.

Data Analyst:


Key Responsibilities:

• Mine, organize and analyze user behavior to assist in providing strategic insights, reports and actionable items for Marketing, Monetization and Executive teams
• Take direction from stakeholders to perform adhoc data analyses using SQL and open source tools such as Python and present findings
• Delivering ongoing largescale analysis as well as performance monitoring dashboard from multiple data sources, that result in actionable insights for the team
• Debugging and resolving issues to ensure the delivery of accurate metrics
• Empower teams to make datainformed, evidencebased decisions through the development and maintenance of periodic reports, datasets for statistical or forecasting models
• Play games and generate ideas for user engagement and monetization strategies in gaming
• Work closely with the Data Science team on the large scale datadriven pipeline

Required Sklls and Experience

• 3+ years for relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in quantitative area in Statistics, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or similar analysisdriven discipline
• Excellent SQL skills
• Proven ability to work in a fastpaced environment, meet everchanging deadlines and handle priorities for multiple projects at once
• Experience dealing with large datasets in a production environment (not educational setting)
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with monitoring and analyzing Key Performance Indicators
• Highly analytical with great attention to detail
• Passion for analyticsdriven to understand and interpret data
• Enjoys working in both individual and team settings

Big Plus:

• Handson experience with Google Cloud BigQuery.
• Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools
• Previous experience in freemium mobile gaming
• Experience with Python or R
