Senior Financial Analyst

Elie, Manitoba

AgWest is looking for a Financial Analyst to develop and maintain critical business information, key indicators, and reports that assist the business leaders in managing the financials of the dealership. This role will work with all departments and leaders to collect, consolidate, process, and report financials and business indicators as well as drive measurable improvements.

As the Financial Analyst you will:

Prepare reports for management, suppliers, and lender reporting.

Review, document, and optimize business processes.

Develop reports (in various forms) that support the business leaders in running the day-to-day business.

Work with the Carve Out transition team, assisting in financials.

Provide financial counseling and support to business leaders to ensure proper financial controls, standards, and processes are in place.

Prepare Equipment and Other Sales forecasts, P&L forecasts, and cash flow forecasts.

Perform ongoing analysis of performance in equipment sales, parts sales, and service, highlighting areas of improvement, and recommending a course of action to management.

Other accounting and non-accounting duties as required.

You and Your Experience:

Relevant post-secondary education in accounting; Working towards a CPA designation would be an asset.

Previous experience working in a full-cycle accounting position.

Hands-on Project Management experience.

Experience in developing data into reporting.

Experience with Foreign exchange and hedge accounting is an asset.

Proven analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Understanding of dealership business model is an asset.

Ability to work with all levels of the organization.

High level of attention to detail.

Effective communication skills written and oral.
