Description
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site layout for foundations and site service
- Use laser level to conduct grades, slopes, etc.
- Use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to create detailed maps and drawings
- Upload cads to GPS Survey equipment
- Using GPS equipment, preform site layout as required
- Using GPS conduct areas and volume checks
- Read/ Interpret blueprint drawings, ensure measurements are accurate
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accurate surveying for projects
- Perform fieldwork including measuring distances, angles, and elevations using surveying instruments
- Prepare reports, maps, and legal descriptions based on survey findings
Qualifications:
- CET in Civil or equiv.
- OACETT registration (asset but not required)
- Proficient in AutoCAD software for creating maps and drawings
- Strong knowledge of GPS
- Familiarity with various surveying instruments and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements
- Willing to travel
Salary:
$25.00-$37.50 per hour
