General Summary:

We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our Human Resources Team, supporting Team Member relations, recruiting and payroll.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support internal and external recruitment activities including orientation of new hires
Plan and coordinate Team Member events and activities
Ensure that policies, practices and procedures are properly and consistently administered
Promote positive team member relations
Assist with Payroll processing
Disability and WSIB claims management

Requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Power Point
Experience with ADP Workforce Now, Oracle and Kronos time keeping preferred
University/College Diploma in Human Resources
3+ years of relevant Human Resource experience in a Generalist/Specialist role
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Experience in an automotive manufacturing setting would be ideal
