Who we need:
Reporting to the Assistant Campus and Executive Support Manager, the Facilities Assistant is responsible to assist the campus operations manager with various campus operations activities including minor facility maintenance and repair, reception, and equipment room.
This position participates with implementing initiatives, completion of tasks and finding ways to improve the student and/or employee experience; and collaborating with internal key stakeholders, in alignment with our corporate strategic imperatives.

What you will do:
- Handling minor repair and maintenance requirements on campus including assisting with moving equipment between campuses and studios.
- Cleaning and taking care of the common areas, lobbies, restrooms, break rooms, etc.
- Monitoring the washrooms, cleaning, restocking items, and servicing the restrooms.
- Quickly responding to any cleaning crisis, like a major spill, odor in the kitchen, and mess in the restrooms.
- Work with campus staff to prepare campus spaces for special events
- Manning reception and/or the equipment room when someone is off sick or on vacation.
- Adhering to policies and procedures, to support the ongoing maintenance of buildings, studios and equipment room.
- Contributing to a positive corporate culture that supports equity, inclusion, learning, and wellness.
What you bring:
- 3 years of experience in building maintenance and customer service, including experience in minor building repair, reception activities and dealing with end customers.
- Secondary school diploma (or international equivalent).
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and experience in handyman work, mail mangement, and equipment handling.
- Experience working in highly dynamic and fast paced settings and/or organizations.
- Ability to work in a complex environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams).
