IronSight is currently looking for an Accounting and Corporate Services Manager To:

  • Collaborate with your Leadership Team to provide business insights which move IronSight towards its strategic objectives.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate production of accounting information, effective communication of key monthly, quarterly, and annual financial, operational and treasury insights to the Leadership Team and key stakeholders.
  • Support the annual budget process, monthly forecasting and corporate modeling using cloudbased tools, with direct leadership from the CFO.
  • Identify, facilitate, maintain and coordinate opportunities to improve processes and drive both strategic and tactical efficiencies.


You will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for all transactional and reporting facets of Accounting and Corporate Services in our dynamic, growing, vibrant and fast paced SaaS company headquartered in Edmonton.

What You'll Do

Accounting and Treasury (Lead)

  • Understand the need for timely and accurate financial information for month end, in the form of financial statements and SaaS metrics critical to stewarding the company towards its objectives.
  • Ensure quality by performing periodic closes and producing KPI metrics for weekly monitoring of our objectives.
  • Perform the necessary balance sheet reconciliations to enable quality in the financial statement reporting process and to keep a close eye on monthly cash objectives.
  • You will have daily contact with the CFO in this role initially, and we will work to enable your autonomy to make this position yours.

Forecasting and Budget (Support)

  • On a monthly basis you will maintain our corporate banking model, to support corporate development opportunities and navigation in a high growth environment; working closely with the President, Department Leads and the CFO in the process.
  • With support from the CFO, you will lead IronSight's annual budget process using cloudbased tools and engaging with all aspects of the Company to set annual financial objectives.

Advise and Consult (Support):


  • Support the Clientfacing parts of IronSight in understanding their cost structure with a view to improving overall margins.
  • Along with the CFO, you will be deadly focused on our balance sheet with an everpresent eye on cash burn and working capital to deliver marginbased results that are equally matched with exceptional balance sheet performance.
  • Work with colleagues on a variety of nonfinancial projects that support the execution of the strategy and tactics.

Strategic Conversion
(Support)

  • You understand our overall strategy and support the CFO to develop the tactical elements and articulate the tactical actions required to support strategic execution of objectives through planning, enrollment, and reliable execution.

Foundational Communication

  • Lead the preparation and timely delivery of the accounting close and monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements and Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A). This includes meeting all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deadlines as required for the Leadership Team, external Banking, Board of Directors, and Audit Committee financial reporting packages.
  • Prepare and analyze the Board of Director package for review by the Leadership Team.
  • Collaborate with the majority shareholder Accounting Team and CFO on Board matters, corporate financial accounting policy, financial system integrity matters and process improvement opportunities.
