You as a Project Communication Specialist you will:
Develop and lead communication, community relations, crisis, and stakeholder relations plans for large infrastructure projects
Create engaging project content for various internal and external communication channels
Attend and lead project communication meetings and community working group meetings
Develop communication products including media releases, key messages, communication plans, issue notes, presentation material, speaking notes, and web and social media content
Respond to community engagement that are related to our various infrastructure projects
Build constructive relationships across the organization as well as various levels of government partners to deliver successful communications programs
Work closely with various project teams to track and understand the scope and progress of certain projects

Is this the right role for you?

You have a degree or diploma in marketing, communications or related field
You are confident in your ability to develop and implement strategic communications and issue management plans
You are a proficient writer both creatively and technically
You have a knack for telling a good story
You have the ability to work some evenings for industry events - approximately once per month
You possess leadership skills and work well in a team environment
