Job Summary
We are looking to add an experienced part-time Cook/Chef to our retirement residence located in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Responsible for preparing nutritionally balanced meals for our residents.

Wage based on experience and qualifications.


Specific duties include:

  • Ensuring food quality standards
  • Ordering and inventory control
  • Supervision and management of staff and kitchen operations

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in a retirement home setting is preferred but not required.
  • Must possess a current Safe Food Handlers certificate.

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Holidays
  • Weekends as needed

COVID-19 considerations:
All applicates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Masks are required.
At a minimum twice weekly Rapid Antigen testing for COVID-19. Tests provided.


Experience:


  • Culinary: 1 year (preferred)
- cooking: 1 year (required)


Licence/Certification:

  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
