Who we're looking for:


The Account Executive (Mid-Market) role is responsible for driving new revenue working with a wide range of Mid Market accounts in the construction industry.

Managing complex new contract negotiations, this role works as a team with the sales director and construction solutions specialist team to manage qualified opportunities through the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

The AE Mid-Market navigates prospective customers' specific business needs and collaborates with the Fieldwire team to offer strategic & innovative software solutions.


  • Total Sales Impact:_ 3,000,000 USD
  • Annual Sales Quota_: 500,000 USD

Responsibilities:


  • Strategically position the value of Fieldwire's software and help mold the sales process for midmarket construction businesses
  • Own large, complex contract negotiations with executivelevel potential customers to define pricing & terms
  • Manage a pipeline of leads to qualify, engage, and develop relationships with potential customers
  • Assess & manage prospects' complex business needs to determine if Fieldwire can be a strategic investment for their business' growth
  • Drive engaging & innovative virtual demonstrations and presentations by partnering closely with the Customer Solutions Engineer team
  • Develop and execute sales plans by collaborating with crossfunctional partners to drive predictable sales cycles
  • Execute the strategic direction to advance the company's values, unique culture, and vision for the future
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to manage the pipeline of leads; document and distribute competitive information to benefit the team
  • Pursue and increase knowledge of key competitors to ensure that our value proposition is communicated effectively to customers
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate forecasts; provide sales management with reports & projections
  • Additional duties, as assigned

Preferred Experience:


  • 35+ years experience working & negotiating with executivelevel contacts, full sales cycle experience, preferably B2B
  • 12+ years of SaaS selling experience, a strong plus; strong consultative selling experience with ability to manage highly strategic & complex new accounts
  • Consistent track record of successful management of sales in a quotacarrying role
  • Strong negotiation skills; ability to navigate & successfully execute commercial and executivelevel negotiations
  • Ability to develop & implement complex strategies to drive sales; excellent diagnostic skills
  • Strong presentation skills with ability to communicate effectively across potential new accounts
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects/deals at same time
  • Technologysavvy with ability and desire to sell virtually
  • Experience in demoing software across multiple stakeholders, in construction industry a strong plus
  • Selfmotivated and highly organized, with strong time management skills
