To support our continued growth and deliver outstanding customer experiences, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team.


Job Description:

As the Assistant Manager of our Trail Tire location in Edmonton, you will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, assisting customers, and ensuring the efficient delivery of tire-related services.

Your primary responsibilities will include staff management, customer support, and tire inventory management. This position requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, leadership skills, and tire industry knowledge.


Responsibilities:


  • Support the Store Manager in overseeing all aspects of the store's operations, ensuring efficient and smooth functioning
  • Supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support to optimize their performance
  • Assist customers with tirerelated inquiries, providing product recommendations, explaining services, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences
  • Assist in inventory management, including ordering and receiving tires, maintaining stock levels, and conducting regular stock audits
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry safety standards
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a strong customercentric culture
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, ensuring visual merchandising standards are met

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role, preferably in the tire or automotive industry
  • Strong knowledge of tires, including different brands, sizes, and tirerelated services
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to effectively assist customers and resolve issues
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on employee development and performance optimization
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems and pointofsale software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and customers
  • Detailoriented with a commitment to accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment
