Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join our team.
The Junior Estimator will assist in preparing accurate and timely estimates for projects, contributing to the overall success of our construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in analyzing project drawings and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Collaborate with senior estimators to review project requirements and scope
- Utilize estimating software and tools to calculate material, labor, and equipment costs
- Assist in the preporation of submitting, bids, proposals, and change orders in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather necessary information for estimates
- Assist in maintaining a cost database for future reference
Experience:
- Experience in the Electrical field is preferred.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and estimating software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment
