ROLE IMPACT

This role is significant as it allows you to have a positive impact on individuals living with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD).

You will make a difference by:
  • Assisting in the administrative tasks of programs provided by Crohn's and Colitis Canada, such as Camp Got2Go and the IBD Scholarship.
  • Being the main point of contact for campers, students, families, and camp partners to ensure smooth program delivery.
  • Organizing the program database and monitoring data to enhance program effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Completion of a postsecondary degree or diploma or equivalent experience in health sciences, child and youth, psychology, education, or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of experience in supporting program administration. Experience in the nonprofit sector is a plus.
  • Excellent skills in building relationships and communicating effectively with different audiences.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills, ability to work independently.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, problem solver, and a team player.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with virtual event platforms, video conferencing, like Zoom, and ability to analyze and track program metrics.
  • Capable of working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.
  • Successful completion of a criminal and credit background check.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage scholarship documentation for review and selection by internal and external reviewers.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to distribute scholarship funds to institutions.
  • Work closely with the Manager of Patient Programs and external partners to support planning and administrative tasks for overnight camps (Camp Got2Go) in Ontario, Alberta, and Nova Scotia.
  • Act as the main contact for camp partners hosting CampGot2Go and facilitate communication between staff and families.
  • Organize camper health information for medical staff and volunteers.
  • Coordinate camper travel requirements with travel agents.
  • Provide administrative support for smooth program delivery.
  • Monitor and report program revenue and costs.
