National Retail Sales Manager - Saint-Laurent, Canada - Oatey

Position Summary
Responsible for planning, managing, and achieving National sales revenue and profit plan for Retail Sales Accounts.
Position Responsibilities
- Systematically and strategically prioritize and manage relationships with retail customers to ensure the needs of the customer are met.
- Manage account for performance and profitability per budget.
- Anticipate customer needs and proactively address those needs.
- Identify and foster growth opportunities within accounts via most effective product placement and promotional opportunities.
- Analyze sales report to monitor top and bottomline sales performance. Work with marketing team to jump start underperforming products and expand visibility and opportunities for over performing products.
- Develop, present, and recommend competitive opportunities for customer's market niche.
- Communicate and resolve trends and/or individual account needs within the supply chain.
- Work with marketing to develop a sound strategy to maintain and/or win line reviews. Includes sales strategy, merchandising development, packaging, and product recommendations.
- Problem solve in the field.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Experience
Required
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years' experience in the Home Improvement Industry, must have experience calling on retail customers.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Home Improvement Industry. Plumbing knowledge is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, negotiate, measure, and achieve results.
- Indepth organization and creative skills.
- Indepth emotional intelligence: behavioral maturity, demonstrated trust and integrity, high ethical standards, interpersonal competence, and the ability to prevent, reduce and resolve conflict.
- Indepth written and oral communication skills; standup presentation and training skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and generate results in a deadlinedriven, fastpaced environment.
- Demonstrated team and individual leadership skills: decisionmaking, analytical, team building, and organization skills.
Education and Certification:
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- Business preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience in lieu of degree may be accepted.
