    Licensed Technician (310S)

Many hundreds of area residents have come to depend on us, and to rely on the technical expertise of our friendly staff to keep their family and business vehicles in peak running condition. The success of our neighborhood business has been built on a foundation of customer satisfaction. Indeed, satisfied existing clients are our best advertising. Their 'word-of-mouth referrals' continue to be our largest source of new customers.

    We perform general repairs, tune-ups, oil changes, maintenance, complete electronic diagnostics, safety inspections, repairs to steering and suspensions, brakes, cooling systems, A/C systems, tire repairs and changes to a variety of domestic and import vehicles including light trucks.

    We are looking for a Licensed Technician (310S) in Mississauga, ON.

    Our Licensed Technician (310S) will work under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment, maintain, inspect and repair a variety of domestic and import vehicles including light trucks.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles.
    • Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment.
    • Explain automotive repairs and issues to management and provide great customer service.
    • Plan repair procedures using charts, manuals and experience.
    • Test the functionality of parts and systems
    • Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation.
    • Perform front end and brake repair
    • Install and balance tires.
    • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles.
    • Prepare to get additional certification as needed.
    • Help keep repair shop clean and organized.

    Requirements

    • Licensed Technician (310S)
    • 3+ years of experience as a Technician.
    • Must possess a clean driving record and valid driver's licence (abstract must be produced at interview).
    • Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of automotive vehicles.
    • Must have their own toolbox with basic tools to be able to perform routine automotive work.

    Hours

    • 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM on weekdays
    • 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturdays

    Compensation

    • As an eligible employee you will receive industry-standard wages and benefits, year-end bonus, and paid training.
    • $ $65000 based on experience.
