    JOB position - SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER (project based with potential to be full-time)

    At BOWO Creative, we are a dynamic and forward-thinking creative agency dedicated to helping beauty industry brands shine in the digital world. We're looking for a talented Social Media Manager to join our team and bring their expertise to our growing portfolio of beauty clients.

    Position Overview:

    As a Social Media Manager at BOWO Creative, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing social media strategies for our beauty industry clients. We're seeking an experienced professional who understands the fine details of the beauty sector and can create captivating content that drives engagement and brand awareness. The ideal candidate would demonstrate genuine curiosity and interest in our clients and their business while also providing a can-do and positive attitude in a team environment.

    Location: Candidates must be residents of the city of Toronto & GTA areas. (WFH/Remote, but travel may be required for when you are needed on-site)

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute social media strategies that align with the unique needs and goals of our clients.
    • Create and curate compelling content, including visuals, videos, and copy, to showcase our clients' products and/or services.
    • Manage and maintain social media accounts across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.), ensuring consistency and high engagement.
    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and social media best practices to identify opportunities and stay ahead.
    • Collaborate closely with our clients to understand their brand voice and objectives.
    • Collaborate with the other team members (digital ads team, email marketing, etc.) to integrate social media with overall marketing campaigns.
    • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven insights to refine social media strategies. KPIs such as, reach, engagement, and conversion rates and adjust strategies accordingly.
    • Stay up-to-date with emerging social media platforms and technologies to explore new opportunities.
    • Keep the online community engaged and informed about any products, promotions, and events.


    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 1 year of social media/digital marketing experience
    • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager must have experience working with the medical aesthetic industry
    • Must have deep knowledge and understanding of the beauty industry, including skincare, medical aesthetics, cosmetics, wellness, and spa .
    • Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Fluent with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Video Editing Software, Slack, Asana, Google Workspace, Mailchimp, Klaviyo and Active Campaign.
    • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual content.
    • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
    • Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in social media marketing.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent time and task management skills. Must be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
