    Dr. Angelina Loo is looking for a passionate, energetic, Treatment Coordinator to join our well-established beautiful practice in Vancouver, BC.

    Our team is the secret to our success and as a Treatment Coordinator, you will play an important role in meeting potential patients and working with the orthodontist to present treatment and payment options to adults, teens, and children.

    In this role you will also be taking on other office manager/practice manager duties.

    The position requires an outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, a passion for administration, a team-oriented mindset, and an understanding of orthodontics.

    What you will be doing - Responsibilities:

    • Welcome new patients with a friendly and enthusiastic approach.
    • Review the patients, health and medical history and determine their goals for treatment.
    • Assist in the Orthodontists examination, entering data and listening to the conversation between patient and doctor taking appropriate notes in the patient's chart.
    • Review the treatment plan with the doctor and patient and use the available tools to educate them on the available options (videos, power-point, pictures, etc.).
    • Generate correspondence from initial consultation and recall examinations for the referring dentist.
    • Follow up with patients who are ready to start treatment.
    • Act as a liaison between the doctor and any other dental specialists or general practitioner.
    • Complete monthly reports on key performance metrics.
    • Build and execute plans to improve practice operations to deliver optimal performance and operational excellence.
    • Monitor key measures of business performance to identify opportunities for improvement and support team with troubleshooting and problem-solving.
    • Contribute to annual practice goal setting (actively work towards achieving annual goals) – practice goals are managers goals.
    • Ensure exceptional patient care, taking care to promptly resolve patient concerns.
    • Coach and develop a high performing team, providing day-to-day direction and motivation to the team in line with Corus' values.
    • Partner with functional support teams and practice manager peer network to improve operations.
    • Maintain effective communication between doctors and employees and foster an inclusive and collaborative environment.

    What you need to know:

    • This role will be conducted from our office located at 5687 Yew Street, Suite 307, Vancouver, BC.
    • Our successful candidate will work 24-32 hour per week, from Tuesday to Friday, with one Saturday per month during the months of September to June – Flexible Mondays/Tuesdays

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal, and ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.
    • You are observant and a good listener.

    What you bring – qualifications:

    • 1+ years of Dental or Ortho office experience considered an asset.
    • 1+ year in an administrative role considered an asset.
    • Good with computers, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software quickly.
    • Knowledge and experience with dental treatment plans and insurance requirements preferred.
    • Certified Dental Assistant an asset.
    • Knowledge and understanding of oral treatment plans and ability to educate patients.
