Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase creativity, build client relationships, and contribute to a welcoming salon environment. The Hair Stylist will be responsible for providing professional hair services, maintaining high standards of sanitation, and engaging with clients to ensure their satisfaction.

Duties

• Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling according to client preferences
• Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable styles and treatments
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and salon areas in compliance with health regulations
• Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client experience and salon revenue
• Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing transactions
• Foster positive communication with clients to understand their needs and ensure a comfortable experience
• Build strong client relationships through excellent customer service and follow-up care

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon setting
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
• Proficiency in hair styling techniques, color application, and current trends
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols in a salon environment
• Ability to upsell retail products and promote salon services confidently
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally
• Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred
• A valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations
