- Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Interactive Media, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Game Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative vision and technical proficiency.
- Expertise in designing and documenting game mechanics, quests, and narratives for educational or children's games.
- Proficiency in Unity as relates to understanding the engine's limitations and capabilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with educational games is preferred

Job Purpose:
We are seeking a talented Senior Game Designer to join our team on a 3 to 6-month contract basis, with the potential for full-time employment upon successful completion of the project. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the design and narrative of our upcoming 3D story-driven educational game tailored for students in grades 1 to 8. Your responsibilities will include defining and documenting game design elements, game core mechanics, leading the conceptualization and prototyping process, and ensuring design requirements are set and documented for the successful delivery of key project milestones such as Alpha and Beta releases.
