Service Technician_

Service Technician
Your goal in this position is to provide high-quality, compassionate service.

You know a person's independence, safety, and quality of life is often dependent on properly functioning mobility or home medical equipment.


On a practical level, your day to day duties will be to:

  • Deliver, assemble, and/or install product and equipment either in store or on location
  • Diagnose and repair our full line of mechanical and nonmechanical products
  • Perform home service calls
  • Demonstrate patience and compassion
  • Assist in general warehouse duties as needed
  • Build great relationships with our clients, various manufacturers, and their service departments
  • Operate fleet vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
  • Follow all company safety protocol, policies, and procedures

Working at SUPERIOR Home Health Care
This is a full-time permanent position, working 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Most of your day will be spent visiting clients in their homes installing equipment such as stair lifts, or repairing equipment like walkers, wheelchairs, and scooters.

Specifically, we want you to have the following qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Exceptional people skills and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Experience repairing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
  • Comfortable and knowledgeable with manual and power tools
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
  • Basic computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Gmail
  • Physically fit and able to lift 50lbs
  • Possess a clean, valid, Ontario Driver's license
  • Previous work experience in the Home Medical Equipment industry would be a definite asset
  • Construction skills an asset
  • Must have the ability to establish good working relationships with the all other Teams Members, colleagues, clients/customers, and other relevant partner associates
  • Must have a friendly, positive attitude and the ability to have fun while working in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Job Types:

Pay:
$17.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
