Work setting:

Tasks:


  • Operate Xray, radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, computerized tomography (CT) scanners, mammography units and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners
  • Operate radiation therapy equipment
  • Operate radiation detection equipment to acquire data for use by nuclear medicine physicians in the diagnosis of disease
  • Record and process results of procedures
  • Record and process patient data
  • Provide appropriate care and monitoring of the patient during the examination

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:


  • Certification of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
