Position DescriptionA temporary full time (1.0)District Literacy Support Teacher is required by School District No. 60 (Peace River North) effective September 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025. The assignment will be at Learning Services working in the Curriculum Department. Work in schools across the district is also part of this role.
The role of a Literacy Support Teacher is to demonstrate leadership in literacy by supporting district literacy initiatives, classroom teachers, students and school teams.
The successful candidate would also collaboratively work on district literary initiatives in support of the SD 60's Framework for Enhancing Student Learning with the District Principal of Curriculum and curriculum team.
Travel in district is a requirement of this position.We are dedicated to providing services that assist students to develop the attitudes, skills and knowledge required to successfully participate ineducational experiences.
